Vehicle Calibration and Recovery

ADAS (advanced driver-assistance systems)

Modern vehicles today have (ADAS) advanced driver-assistance systems integrated to their electronics and manufacturers continue to add more of these features into their cars to make them safer.

Early advanced driver-assistance systems include electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and traction control. These systems can be affected by mechanical alignment adjustments. This has led many manufacturers to require electronic resets for these systems, after a mechanical alignment is performed.

When does my ADAS need calibration or resetting?

To prevent inconsistency with the radar and or camera reading the road ahead the ADAS system does need to be calibrated after certain repairs undertaken on your vehicle.
These repairs include:

  • Windscreen renewal
  • Four wheel alignment
  • Body work repairs
  • ADAS sensor renewal

Here at VCR we have all the necessary calibration equipment and knowledge to reset your systems and keep you and your car driving safely on the road. Contact us to book in
